NEW INDIE SCI-FI PROJECT FOR MATT
Matt Dallas has just signed on to a new indie sci-fi adventure called Paradox, written and directed by award-winning filmmaker, Elana A. Mugdan. It will be produced by Paradox Film and Shivnath Productions, headed by Dave Brown and Ms Mugdan. Shooting will commence later in the year, with the aim of completing it for release at the end of January 2014.
The storyline is as follows:
According to the information available, this time travel movie will be unlike any other in that its main plot device is the notion of the paradoxes inherent in time travel itself. It relies heavily on the theory that time is linear and that everything in our future has actually already happened... The director, Elana Mugdan, explains this in more detail in the video (below).

SHOWING CHANGES EVERYTHING...
Indie thriller/drama/sci-fi, Life Tracker, in which Matt stars alongside Barry Finnegan and Rebecca Marshall, completed a week-long run at the Harkins Shea 14 theatre in Scottsdale, AZ on May 2nd. The film will be represented at Cannes 2013 by Red Sea Media in the hopes of securing international distribution. The good news for movie fans is that there will be a full summer VOD release via every major digital platform.

Matt Dallas is currently involved with another indie film called 1%ers (One Percenters). He broke silence and shared his first photo from the set via Twitter (see below) with the caption "A Tuesday at the office #onepercentersmovie." This short film is being directed by Francesca de Sola (who also wrote it) and includes real bikers, a helicopter...and the amazing Michelle Rodriguez! Until the production team gives the go-ahead for more publicity, details about the movie (synopsis, characters/production team details, project history, distribution plans etc) can be found on our blog. We will also post updates via our Twitter and Facebook Page and other social media outlets as and when...

A special screening for cast & crew took place on August 29th (also Joe McClean's birthday!), but the film is currently being submitted to various film festivals and a Sales Agent is being sought. Please stay tuned for details of other upcoming screenings. In the meantime, check out the first teaser trailer, debuted by The Hollywood Reporter.

COMING SOON TO THE HALLMARK CHANNEL!
This Hallmark Channel original movie serves as a yuletide cautionary tale about being nice during Christmas, because if you’re naughty, the odds are somebody is going to know and there will be consequences.
In Naughty or Nice we discover that it isn’t always Santa Claus who “sees you when you’re sleeping”, “knows when you’re awake” and “knows when you’ve been bad or good”, as the song goes. Hilarie Burton (One Tree Hill, Secret Life of Bees) portrays Krissy Kringle, a beautiful young woman who nonetheless rejects everything positive about the holiday season.
As if the name she got saddled with wasn’t bad enough, things really start falling apart as Christmas approaches. First, she gets fired from her high-powered advertising job, then her attorney boyfriend, Lance (Matt Dallas, Kyle XY), starts pestering her about marriage; and on top of all of this, she lives on Candy Cane Lane! The final straw is her part-time job wrapping presents and playing Santa’s elf at the mall.
One day, as she’s cursing the fates, Krissy gets mistakenly delivered a crusty old book titled “Naughty or Nice” that’s filled with blank pages. She doesn’t think anything of it, until she recites someone’s name to the book and it suddenly springs to life, exposing the naughty deeds of those around her. Now, no one can hide their misdeeds from Krissy. But it turns out having this power isn’t so nice. It takes a lot of trial and error for her to ultimately discover the power of love, humility, and the wonder of Christmas. Beloved TV veterans Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross of Family Ties co-star.
